AI Magic Eraser: Remove Objects and People From Photos and Videos
The Eraser takes out the things you’d rather not see: a passer-by in a travel shot, a power line across the sky, a sign, a bag left on the floor. Show it what should go by painting over it, by naming it in a prompt, or both, and content-aware inpainting fills the gap to match the light, texture and perspective around it.
An image model and a video model share this page. On video you paint the first frame and the mask carries through every frame, which suits fixed overlays such as your own logo or captions, and subjects that move slowly. To clear your own watermark without drawing anything, try the Watermark Remover first.
How to erase an object from a photo or video
Choose the model and upload
Pick Image Eraser for a JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP up to 50 MB, or Video Eraser for an MP4, WebM or MOV clip of 3 to 15 seconds, up to 50 MB.
Mark what should go
Open the mask editor and paint over the object; on video you paint on the first frame. A mask pins down exactly where to work. If the thing is easier to name than to outline, type it instead, for example “the dog” or “logo in the corner”.
Say what goes in its place (optional)
For a painted area, the prompt can also describe the fill, such as “plain wooden floor” or “clear blue sky”. Leave it out and the gap is filled to match the surroundings.
Erase and download
The cost shows before you start: 8 credits per image, 4 credits per second of video with a 5-second minimum. A failed run gets its credits back. Download the result when it’s done.
Image Eraser and Video Eraser
Image Eraser
Paint a brush mask, write a prompt or combine them; the prompt can also say what should replace the painted area. Content-aware inpainting keeps lighting, texture and perspective consistent. 8 credits per image.
Video Eraser
The mask you paint on the first frame is applied to every frame, and a prompt works too. Temporal-aware inpainting keeps motion stable. Suited to static overlays and slowly moving subjects. 4 credits per second, 5 seconds minimum: 20 credits for 5 s, 60 for 15 s.

What people erase
- Tourists and passers-by who walked into the frame.
- Wires, cables and poles running across a view.
- Clutter on a desk, floor or shelf before a product shot.
- Signs, stickers and a stray object in the corner.
- Your own logo, or the captions on your own clips.

AI Eraser FAQ
Do I have to paint a mask?
No. A mask, a prompt or both will do: paint over the object, type something like “the dog” or “logo in the corner”, or combine the two when you also want to say what fills the gap.
Can I remove people from a photo?
Yes. Tourists and passers-by can be painted out or described, and the scene behind them is rebuilt. Just don’t use edits like this to misrepresent what actually happened.
How does the Video Eraser handle movement?
The mask you paint on the first frame is applied to every frame, so it suits overlays that stay in place and subjects that move slowly. For something that moves around, you can describe it in the prompt instead of, or as well as, painting it.
How much does the Eraser cost?
An image costs 8 credits. Video costs 4 credits per second with 5 seconds billed at minimum, so 20 credits for a 5-second clip and 60 for 15 seconds. New accounts get 25 free credits, and failed runs are refunded.
Should I use the Eraser or the Watermark Remover?
The Watermark Remover finds watermarks, logos and text overlays by itself, without a mask; the Eraser handles everything else and anything that tool missed. The same rule covers both: don’t remove other people’s watermarks or credits from content you don’t own.
Which files can I upload?
Images up to 50 MB in JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, and videos up to 50 MB in MP4, WebM or MOV, between 3 and 15 seconds long.
Will the result carry a watermark?
Spicy Studio adds no visible watermark. The file does carry machine-readable metadata that marks it as AI-generated, as described in the Terms.
