Make Money With AI OFM: 2026 Fees, Costs & Sourced Figures
Can you make money with AI OFM? A monthly profit-and-loss view: content costs, platform and agency fees, funnel maths and sourced 2026 figures, no hype.
The Answer Before the Spreadsheet
Yes, some people make money with AI OFM. Most who try make little or nothing, though, and no subscription platform publishes a typical result to plan with. The operators who get paid treat it as a small media business: one fictional adult persona, steady posting, a social audience, a subscription page that accepts AI creators, and someone answering fans every day.
AI OFM is the business of running a fictional, AI-generated creator on a subscription platform rather than managing a real one (What Is AI OFM?). Judge it as a monthly profit-and-loss sheet: this guide starts with the line you can price to the cent, content, then covers fees, revenue, traffic and the public numbers. Each outside figure carries its source and date, marked company-reported, self-reported or unverified where that applies.
One boundary first: Spicy Studio makes images and video. It doesn't chat with fans, post on a schedule or plug into subscription sites, and which platforms accept an AI persona at all is covered in Is AI OFM Legal?
Line One: What a Month of Content Costs on Spicy Studio
Content is the one cost you can price before launch. Prices below are Spicy Studio's own, as of October 2026:
- Spicy Basic: €10 a month for 600 credits (roughly €0.0167 each) - Spicy Pro: €25 for 1,800 (roughly €0.0139) - Spicy Ultimate: €50 for 3,800 - Spicy Creator: €80 for 7,200 (roughly €0.0111)
Plan credits reset each billing cycle without rolling over. Top-ups never expire and run from €2 (90 credits) to €50 (3,100), and every new account gets 25 free credits.
Feed photo: 20 credits, roughly €0.33 on Basic. Generate the frame in GPT Image 2 at 1K, medium quality (10 credits), then run an enhance pass in Nano Banana 2 at 2K (10). The first-frame workflow shows the method with one face reference.
Talking clip: 70 credits for 10 seconds, roughly €1.17. Seedance 2.0 charges 7 credits a second at 480p and 15 at 720p, with or without audio. The step-by-step sketch workflow is a Spicy Pro guide, but the model works on every plan.
Trend remake: 200 credits for 10 seconds, roughly €3.33. Kling 3.0 Motion Control in Character Swap costs 20 credits per second in Standard mode and 27 in Pro, billed for at least 3 seconds (motion control).
Lip-sync line: 100 credits for 10 seconds, roughly €1.67. Lip Sync bills 10 credits a second in Standard and 18 in Pro, never less than 5 seconds (lip-sync).
18+ material for the subscription page. Spicy UNCENSORED is 8 credits per image at 1K and 10 at 2K. A 5-second Spicy UNCENSORED Video clip is 30 credits at 480p and 65 at 720p, and HappyHorse 1.1 is 70 for 5 seconds at 720p.
A testing month on Basic (€10, 600 credits). 10 feed photos (200), 3 talking clips (210) and 1 lip-sync line (100) add up to 510 credits, leaving 90 for retakes.
A posting-most-days month on Pro (€25, 1,800 credits). 30 feed photos (600), 6 talking clips (420), 2 trend remakes (400) and 2 lip-sync lines (200) add up to 1,620, leaving 180 for retakes. Twenty Spicy UNCENSORED images at 2K (200) plus two 5-second Spicy UNCENSORED Video clips at 720p (130) for the subscription page add 330 credits, which a €10 Surge top-up of 500 credits covers. Every tier is on the pricing page.
Line Two: What Comes Off Every Dollar Fans Pay
The platform's share. Under its terms, OnlyFans keeps 20% of each fan payment, and its FY2025 figures fit that: about $6.2B of roughly $7.8B went to creators. Fanvue's homepage puts the creator share at 85% for the first month and 80% from then on, and its payout terms set 80% as the standard rate.
Agency commission. Agencies take their cut from whatever the platform leaves, and published rate cards come from the industry itself, so read them as sales material. Aruna Talent, an agency, lists 20–30% for DM-only help, 30–45% for its standard package and 45–60% for full service (April 2026); Desirely, which sells AI chat tools, now quotes 20–50%, 30–60% and 40–70% of net for comparable tiers (October 2026). As an illustration, of every $100 a fan spends, a 20% platform fee leaves $80, and a 40% commission on that net takes $32, leaving $48 before chatters, ads, tools and tax. Get in writing what's included, who holds the logins and how you leave.
Chat labor. Fan messaging is usually outsourced, often abroad. Rest of World reported in August 2025 that chatters in the Philippines make about double call-center wages, and a chatter there told the BBC in March 2026 she was earning under $2 an hour. Reply-drafting software is spreading, but OnlyFans' rules reportedly require a human to send each message, and Fanvue, which offers its own AI messaging tools, requires a clear yes whenever a fan asks whether they're talking to AI.
Hours, tax and chargebacks. Production is the cheap part; writing, posting and replying still take hours every week, yours or paid for. Budget for tax and chargebacks, and get tax advice where you live.
Line Three: Where the Money Comes In
Subscriptions are the recurring base. According to Fanvue's help center (September 2026), a monthly subscription can be set anywhere from $3.99 to $100, and a single paid post from $3 to $500.
Paid messages and tips carry most of the money. Rest of World (August 2025) cited an industry study of more than 1M subscribers in which sales plus tips were over 70% of transactions and a small group of heavy spenders, the "whales", produced more than 20% of revenue. Messaging quality, more than post count, sets what a page brings in.
Brand deals pay some personas instead. The Clueless, the agency that created the AI model Aitana López, told Euronews (November 2023, updated December 2024) that she can make up to €10,000 in a month and usually about €3,000, from ads, a brand deal and Fanvue subscriptions. Those figures come from the agency itself.
Platform fit sets the ceiling. Working out how to make money on Fanvue starts with its rules: fully AI-generated creators are welcome when AI media is disclosed, the profile carries Fanvue's AI label and a real adult clears its ID check. OnlyFans, according to reports on its terms, only accepts AI content that shows the verified creator. Platform-by-platform details are in the rules guide.
How Much Traffic One Paying Subscriber Takes
Pages rarely fail because content costs too much. They fail because too few people see it. So work the funnel from the bottom up, with rates you replace with your own as soon as you have data.
Illustrative assumptions, not benchmarks. Say 1 viewer in 100 taps through to the profile, 1 profile visitor in 10 clicks the link, and 1 clicker in 10 subscribes. Multiply those and each paying subscriber takes about 10,000 views.
Scale it up. The persona Fortune described with about 150 paying subscribers would need around 1.5M views to get there at those rates. Subscribers also leave: with an assumed 30% monthly churn, 45 of the 150 need replacing every month, roughly 450,000 fresh views a month just to stand still.
Pull the levers. Doubling any one rate halves the views you need. A face that looks the same in every post makes the profile visit worth it, a niche people can name in one word wins the link click, and formats of your own win the views. One clip that takes off is a spike, not a baseline; the AI influencer Reels formats guide covers formats that keep working.
Labels are part of the funnel now. Instagram announced on August 31, 2026 that it would limit the reach of profiles featuring an AI-generated person without its "AI-generated profile" label (TechCrunch reported it the same day). Labeled profiles aren't the target, so hiding the AI is what costs you the top of the funnel.
Benchmarks: What the Platform Numbers Show
OnlyFans, FY2025. For the year to November 30, 2025, the Financial Times reported in August 2026 that revenue rose 10% to $1.6B, pre-tax profit reached $715M and about $6.2B went to creators; press reports put fan spending near $7.8B. The FT counted 5M creator accounts, 2.5M of them active, and 437M fan accounts, 132M active. The full accounts were filed at Companies House on September 20, 2026.
Two crude averages. $6.2B spread over all 5M creator accounts is about $1,240 a year, roughly $103 a month. Over the 2.5M active accounts it's about $2,480 a year, roughly $207 a month. Both are means, and earnings pile up at the top, so a typical active creator likely makes less. OnlyFans publishes no official average or median, so treat these as arithmetic, not a forecast.
Fanvue, the main home for fully AI creators, announced a $22M Series A in January 2026, reported alongside a $100M+ annual revenue run rate, 250,000 creators and 17M monthly active users; in August 2026 its blog said the run rate had passed $200M in July. Its About page says over 93% of creators use at least one of its AI tools. Those are all company figures. Sacra, an independent research firm, estimated in June 2025 that fully AI-generated influencers made up about 15% of Fanvue's GMV.
What that means for AI OnlyFans model income: a large market where fans do pay AI creators, small averages and a steep distribution.
Outliers and Viral Screenshots, Checked
Fortune, February 2024. One AI persona's monthly revenue rose from about $6,000 in October 2023 to about $23,000 in January 2024, according to Fanvue. The same piece profiled a persona run anonymously by someone at university, with roughly 150 paying subscribers and $2,500–$4,000 a month, and said AI creators were 15% of Fanvue's revenue in November 2023. These are gross best months from the early wave, before fees and costs.
"$43,000 in 30 days." Unverified. GadgetReview's September 2026 fact-check of the X thread behind it found no authenticated account, no payment records and no confirmed identity.
"$80,000+ in one week." Unverified. The claim, about an AI Instagram model selling through Fanvue, spread in May 2026 as a screenshot of a Reddit post, without confirmation from any platform.
300,000 followers, tiny revenue. An AI persona built on remakes of comedians' viral sets passed 300,000 Instagram followers before Instagram took the account down. The Garbage Day newsletter (October 2026) estimated its subscription page brought in a few hundred dollars a month at most.
Who profits from the dream. In March 2026 the FTC announced a proposed settlement banning Air AI and its owners from marketing business opportunities over false earnings claims and refund promises, with an $18M judgment largely suspended. Treat any course that promises income as a warning sign; the Free AI OFM Course charges nothing and promises nothing, and AI OFM Success Stories checks each widely shared case.
Go or No-Go: Is AI OFM Worth Starting in 2026?
The crowded end. With Sacra's June 2025 estimate putting fully AI-generated influencers at about 15% of Fanvue's GMV, fans already have plenty of AI pages to pick from. A persona posting mirror selfies and copied trends is one of many interchangeable accounts, and Instagram's originality rules, extended to photos and carousels in April 2026, push accounts that mainly recycle other people's posts out of recommendations.
The open end. A persona people can tell apart: the same face in every post, a niche obvious within a second of scrolling (cooking, fitness, gaming, travel), formats of its own and a clear AI label. Spicy Studio's free playbook builds exactly that, and Consistent AI Character for AI OFM shows how to hold one face over hundreds of images.
Go if you can work for months before any payout, keep production costs low, check your funnel numbers weekly and stay inside the rules: adults only, a fictional persona, no real person's face without their documented consent, and AI disclosure on every platform.
No-go if you want passive or fast money, or the plan depends on fans not knowing the persona is AI.
Going ahead? Budget for tools you can keep paying for twelve months. Best AI OFM Generator explains where Spicy Studio fits, and plans start at €10 a month.
Earnings Disclaimer
This guide explains how AI OFM revenue and costs work. It is not a promise of income or a business opportunity, and it isn't legal, tax or financial advice. Most new personas make little or nothing, and some operators lose money on tools, ads, agencies or courses. The outside figures above are company-reported, self-reported, estimated or unverified as labeled, and they describe outliers and averages, not what you will make. Results vary with your content, audience, niche, effort, platform fees and costs. If you publish income claims, run ads or post endorsements, you're responsible for following the law where you sell: the FTC in the US, the Competition Bureau in Canada and the ACCC in Australia all treat misleading earnings claims, fake reviews and hidden ads as illegal. None of these regulators has reviewed or endorsed this guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is AI OFM profitable?
+
For a minority of operators. Neither OnlyFans nor Fanvue publishes a typical result. A crude division of OnlyFans' FY2025 creator payouts gives about $103 a month per creator account, or about $207 per active one, and the AI cases in the press are best months. Profit depends on traffic, fan messaging and what you pay out: 15–20% to the platform, a commission to any agency, plus tools.
How much do AI influencers make a month?
+
Usually little or nothing; the quoted numbers are exceptions. In Fortune's 2024 report, Fanvue said one AI persona took about $23,000 in January 2024, and the same article described another making $2,500–$4,000 a month from roughly 150 subscribers. Treat those as ceilings, not plans. Sponsorship-led personas are covered in How Do AI Influencers Make Money?
How soon can a new AI persona make money on Fanvue?
+
Fanvue publishes no timeline, and nothing ensures a first sale. Revenue follows audience, which usually means months of regular posting and social growth, not weeks. Fanvue's homepage puts the creator share at 85% for the first month and 80% from then on, but a brand-new persona often has no paying fans in month one.
Is AI OFM passive income?
+
No. Paid messages and tips carry most of the money, over 70% of transactions in an industry study Rest of World cited, and that depends on someone replying to fans daily, you or a paid chatter. Add weekly content and changing labels and terms, and it's a job, not a passive stream.
Is AI OFM saturated in 2026?
+
The generic end is. Sacra estimated in June 2025 that fully AI-generated influencers already made up about 15% of Fanvue's GMV, so fans see plenty of AI pages. There's still room for a persona with one consistent face, a niche people recognize and formats of its own, labeled as AI everywhere.
How much do OFM agencies charge?
+
It depends on the service, and published rates come from the industry itself: one agency's April 2026 rate card runs from 20–30% for DM-only work to 45–60% for full service, and a chat-tool vendor quoted up to 70% of net for full management in October 2026. Commission usually comes out of net, after the platform's cut. Get in writing what's covered, who owns the logins and how the contract ends.
