HappyHorse 1.1: Image-to-Video Guide, Settings and Credits
HappyHorse 1.1 on Spicy Studio: an 18+ image-to-video model for 3–15 second clips at 720p or 1080p, with the image rules, credit costs and motion prompts.
What HappyHorse 1.1 Does on Spicy Studio
HappyHorse 1.1 does one job here: it turns a single image into a 3–15 second clip at 720p or 1080p. You supply the first frame, describe the motion if you like, and get back a silent video in the shape of your picture. It's an 18+ model, with the rules at the end of this guide.
HappyHorse is Alibaba's video model family, developed by its Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) unit. Alibaba released 1.1 in June 2026 with smoother motion, better consistency and closer instruction following, by Alibaba's account. Alibaba's own API also offers text-to-video, reference modes and sound; the Spicy Studio version is image-to-video only, without audio.
Start With the Right First Frame
The model can only animate what's in the picture, so prepare it well.
File rules: JPEG, PNG or WEBP, at least 300 px on each side, an aspect ratio from 1:2.5 to 2.5:1, and 10 MB at most. There's no aspect-ratio setting: a 9:16 image gives a vertical clip.
Composition: keep the subject sharp and fully in frame, with room to move. Anything cut off by the edge has to be invented once it moves.
Making one: create the still in the Image Lab; for 18+ scenes with fictional adults, Spicy UNCENSORED costs 8 credits at 1K. The Playbook's first-frame workflow shows what makes a still animate well.
Duration, Resolution and Cost
You also set duration (3–15 seconds) and resolution.
720p: 14 credits a second: 42 for 3 seconds, 70 for 5, 140 for 10, 210 for 15.
1080p: 19 credits a second: 95 for 5 seconds, 190 for 10, 285 for 15.
Draft at 720p and re-render the keeper at 1080p. The shortest clip (42 credits) already exceeds the 25 free sign-up credits, so plan on a top-up such as Spark (€2 for 90 credits) or a plan.
Prompting the Motion
The prompt is optional, up to 2,500 characters. Leave it empty and the model chooses a movement; write one to pick it yourself. Describe one action, one camera move and the pace, skip what the image already shows, and give people an adult age.
“The 34-year-old woman turns from the window toward the camera and laughs; slow dolly-in; curtains moving in a light breeze.”
“The perfume bottle turns a quarter circle on the marble counter as a strip of light slides across the glass; locked-off camera.”
Keep the action in proportion to the length: a glance or a smile fits in about 5 seconds, and a slow reveal can fill 10–15.
Good Uses, and When to Switch Models
HappyHorse 1.1 suits a small gesture that brings a portrait to life, a slow product reveal, a short vertical loop for social posts, or a storyboard panel previewed as motion. Pick something else when you need:
Sound or more than 15 seconds: Spicy UNCENSORED Video (Wan 3.0, 18+) or Seedance 2.5.
A fixed last frame: either of those two, or Kling 3.0 with its end frame.
More on animating 18+ images in uncensored image to video; the three-way breakdown is Wan 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5 vs HappyHorse 1.1.
18+ Rules That Apply
HappyHorse 1.1 is for users 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). Show fictional adults or consenting adults only, use a real, identifiable person only with their documented consent, never depict minors or anyone who looks like one, and keep everything consensual. Automated moderation blocks prohibited content, and violations end the account. Your generations are private to your account by default, and Spicy Studio doesn't use anything made with its mature models for marketing or promotion. Details are in the Terms.
